Girlz 'n Boyz of all ages Love Tremblant's White Winter Wonderland! In case you live under a rock and you haven't heard....
We had to put up with this for most of the day.... ....and it's still snowing now.
Starting out at -12 C this morning in St. Jovite, temps are
forecasted to rise throughout the day to -4C which is HUGE
improvement in the comfort factor.
Oh Yeah, we do like our snow well chilled, but after 3 days of
quite nippy, really freekin' cold... we're happy to get some relief
for fingers 'n toes that we weren't quite sure where they were...
until they thawed out... then we knew were they were....
Repeat... 20 C, or almost 70 F WARMER than yesterday!
Of Course...
The conditions are Outstanding, Excellent, damn near Perfect!
The performance characteristics of the Snow Surfaces at Tremblant
are exceptionally fine.
Conditions also get better every day as the result of overnight grooming that
carefully compacts all the new snow into the base on the groomed runs
and ensures that all skill levels from "Never Ever" beginners, right up
to experts will find terrain that is delightfully user friendly.
Above: This Skier clearly shows the performance capabilities of all the
Groomed runs at Tremblant with this one moment of time and space.
The run this picture was taken on, Versant Nord, the North Side, "Sissy Schuss",
was cut in 1948 and to this day, in our opinion, it remains one of the finest
learning environments on planet Earth for any skill level.
Absolute beginners can find a consistent, easy pitch and almost always flawless
Smooth Surfaces that help establish fundamentals, while experts can find
exceptional grip and lateral traction to develop refinements in edge control
and the nuances of carving, body position and other elements of technique
that bring anyones skills to a higher level.
Experts Only:
