Don't think we've ever seen this many people from Oshawa all
with smiles this big at the same time... Just kidding...
But Foggy and a wee bit Soggy did not diminish the Spirit
of Oshawa at Tremblant as the evidence clearly shows!
Our Thanks go out to the Oshawa group in sincere appreciation
for their kind words regarding Tremblant360. Your positive feedback
on the site means more than we could ever say. It is our honour to
have met you and we look forward to seeing you again, anytime,
be that tomorrow, or anytime in future.
Of course "Seeing You" might literally be easier the next time
if not so foggy, but that had almost nothing to do with the "Spring
For a Couple of Days" conditions that were still very fast today.

95(*) Open Trails on the 4 Easy "Spring For A Couple 'O Days",
Slopes of Tremblant.
Couple of introductory notes:
We were using a way old Canon SD600 backup camera by the time
"Last Run" came around, so images as per.
Due to very dark flat grey light, and it turns out, sort of a sleety residue
on the lens, images have been cooked, highlighted, contrasted max'd etc.,
etc. to show Snow Surface detail as much as possible. It's a wonder they
came out at all, so really, not too bad. Very Very challenging day for
photography.
"Last Run".... Jan.11th, 2013,
before all the "Heat" forecast for today, makes it's way through.
A Run of "Pure Winter" and a great way to summarize
a record setting Early Season of superlative Quality....
which, by the way, will still all be there today and onward. Where are you going with this?
For the sake of the record, Right over here.... Then, turn right, onto this.... Descending on Andy-Moe in these conditions is one of the most
therapeutically cleansing experiences the true Tremblant Fan can have. Turning back to see where we've come from....
By now, your beginning to understand why we don't have too
much sympathy for the Wet Whiners coming off the South who
never saw this all day....
We've crossed over the wide open expanse of Upper Beauchemin
to the continuation of this descent path to Axle. Looking back,
you can see Andy-Moe winding up the Mountain in the far end of this view. We intentionally left out the Beauchemin traverse because we wanted to
maintain the sense of intimacy within the dimensions of these two runs,
not to mention we only had 5 pic's left on the memory card....
There really aren't any already way overused words to describe the beauty
of this descent path. If you have not taken it recently, or ever, do it
as soon as you can. The bonus is... it's beautiful in any weather. All too soon, we see the end of this little Nature adventure coming
up at the mid-point of Lowell Thomas, bottom of Rope Tow,
top of La Traverse and Rigodon. From this point we actually took Lowell Thomas Bas, Lower, to Gagnon,
then crossed over Gagnon to the Side door of Sissy Schuss, then down to
lower Fuddle Duddle. Truly a Classic Tremblant Descent.
Today will be different for sure, with a high temp of +4 C and drizzle
forecasted. With this base level temp, the Summit may not see much
impact though with the elevation differential @ 4 C, +/- cooler.
