T360 Apres Ski Edit @ 9:45 P.M.

This is pretty much what we did for the whole time
we were at Tremblant today...

Earlier today we said:

"Mother Nature One Day Sale On Very Close To Perfect!!!"

We were right about that.... and it's not just us either...
Skiing with friends today, comments such as...

"I think that may be the best day I've had this season" or very close to that,
were specifically said to us.

No wonder. Fine, Very Fine and then, Excellent, on top of it all.

South, North, Edge, Soleil... the feedback from Mountain Guests we talked to
at quite some length during the day was universally the same... Very, Very Fine.

Perfect? They say that's impossible, but we can tell you for a fact...
in close to 25,000 Vertical Metres we were personally connected with today...
the glitches encountered could be counted on LESS THAN the fingers of one hand.
Period.

Right from the beginning of the day, the grip levels were astounding.

...we've decided we like Yellow... a lot....

This Morning We Said: "Forecasted Sunny Day Today, at least until Mid-Afternoon
with steady, easy, daytime sub-zero temps for the whole "Open" day."

There were views at Tremblant today that were Surreal.
Beautiful, and Surreal.

See if you can Spot the end of Earth, the Beginning of Sky.

Absolutely a "Benchmark" day of very near Winter perfection.

Today, Tremblant Mountain Guests Get a...

"Mother Nature One Day Sale On Very Close To Perfect!!!"

We think an early, active, athletic and steady pace using the Gondola
could get you an easy 30,000 vertical feet of Skiing today!!!

We make this estimate based on our experience with the
Tremblant Flaik GPS/Cell Tracking System(available at the
Adventure Centre), where we've recorded an easy 24,000
Vert. Ft. in 5 or so hours.... with lunch too.(**)

This assumes that all systems are "Go" for the whole day with
no undue delays, so given that, it should be an exceptional day.

There could be some very interesting, localized, Summit and Top-side
Versant Nord, North side drifting features, however they will more than
likely just add to the smoothness, and shred depth of the Groomed surfaces.

Please Note: The Duncan Quad Chair is off-line today. There was a
glitch with it yesterday, so that may be a carry-over situation, but we
do not have any verified information on that at this time.

As Usual....

Humans have amused themselves talking about the weather
since they lived in caves, so we've already heard lot's of concern about
the forecast...

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
