One of the challenges of writing a Journal du Jour such as this
is that there are both regular readers and those who are brand
new, never seen it before readers.

So then, how do you balance the inclusion of useful information
that could be seen as repetitive to regulars while it may be
essential to those never-ever before readers?

Obviously, there's no easy answer because it's very difficult to
be all things to all people simultaneously.

The reason this came to mind this morning is that it's been so close
to the freezing mark for the past week that the daily scenario's at
Tremblant have been repetitive by the hand of Mother Nature herself.

She has floated the daytime highs right around the Zero mark by
a degree or two above, while Mountain conditions have steadily
and remarkably remained "Winter" with very little evidence of
thermal effect.

We know for a fact that there are regional Skiers and Snowboarders
out there who are not Tremblant regulars, but non-the-less "Shop"
for conditions that they hope to find and those are people we'd want to
reach out towards to share the current 100% Open, 100% winter surface
Tremblant Quality story, so regular readers, please bare with us.

New readers... a significant value of any daily archive is the identification
of trends. Things may change a little or a lot, but a daily record will
illuminate that and consequently may be useful to help decide about
future actions, i.e. ... "Will we go Skiing at Tremblant Tomorrow, or
next week, etc."

The trend most beneficial to those considering a Tremblant day now is
Surface Condition Stability.

Uninterrupted "winter" surfaces, virtually ice free due to a consistent
Sub-Zero ambient Temperature environment, are the outstanding, everyday
reality at Tremblant right now.

Basically, all of Tremblant except the bottom few metres of Johannsen
at the Resort South Base, have enjoyed Sub-Zero, without interruption
since January 31st when we had the last little January Thaw end.

The North Side, top to bottom has been all "Winter" every single day since then, including today.

So, as we said yesterday, this may be one of one, or one of a very few,
pure winter Alpine Snow Sport descent sectors in Eastern North America.

Huge, Huge Surface Quality Bonus for all Tremblant Skiers/Boarders.

As fine and as excellent as every "Spring Skiing" day could ever be...
Nothing can ever match the outright smoothness, speed and consistency
of pure winter surfaces, and we have all of those right now.

Todays Weather: was originally expected to see a maybe +2 C, but fortunately
that's been revised down by a couple to Zero at the South Base level and
again fortunately, no extra solar energy, so we're hangin' on to Winter for
another day!

The breezes are Nor-West and moderate, so they'll be crossing the Summit
from Nansen towards Duncan, but obviously even at the Summit's cooler
somewhere around -4, -5 C, very easy to handle.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
