A Classic Tremblant Spring Day!
We show 56 Officially open trails, but while days like today are
easy to take with the warm temps and forecasted sunny conditions,
the flip side is that all this heat will eventually result in loss of coverage.
The best conditions will most likely be on the North Side where
things are more often out of the direct sunshine and therefore
less effected by solar heat.
Be careful in high traffic areas, over the crests in the natural contours
of the Mountain and areas were direct sunlight hits for long periods.
These areas will be the most prone to thin or bare spots that will have
natural hazards.
USE CAUTION WHEN RIDING OVER UNFAMILIAR GROUND.
The wisest thing to do is explore with care, check out where all the
best lines are, then let it rip.

Thursday April 2
Literally a formation in the shape of a pipe sawed in half built in
the snow, riders execute a series of jumps and trick in the Half-pipe.
Each snowboarder performs a routine of acrobatic jumps, twists
and tricks on the inside of a half-cylinder-shaped snow tube or
ramp while moving from one side of the halfpipe to the other.
Judged on amplitude, difficulty, variety, pipe use and execution of
all tricks, the rider with the highest score will win.

*** This week, to facilitate the access to the event of TELUS Spin
which is held in the north park, the access of the north side will
be made by Expo and Lowell Thomas lifts. The Duncan lift will
be closed until Friday. *** Today and until Thursday, Soleil and
Porte du Soleil lifts will be closed. Shuttle busses are available
from the Soleil base to the South base at 8am, 9am and 10am.
