T360 Apres Ski Edit @ 6:40 P.M.

Reviewing the “Carve Lines” in this picture below, covers 90% of
what you need to know about Tremblant right now.

If looking at these “Carve Lines” gives you the impression that
the surfaces are very responsive to edge control, you are very, very right.

The Grip levels will allow you to stand virtually sideways on your carving Skis
or Board without the slightest hesitation, without the slightest worry that
the centrifugal force will dis-engage or allow Edge “Blow Out” while
executing extreme, short radius turns.

These Are Very High Performance Snow Surfaces.

Weather Notes:

Early -25 C, but Sunny and rising up to -13 C by shortly after noon.
These mornings may be cool, but they create superb morning
conditions and the Sun is high enough in the Sky now that typically,
the more direct Solar Energy rapidly builds heat.

When there’s been this much Snow over the course of the Season,

When all that Snow has been Meticulously Packed and Groomed into the Base,

and then, when there’s a series of Days/Weeks of Consistent Deep Overnight Temp. Low’s...

Our Enthusiasm is generated by experience and anyone
who thinks we’re “Too Positive” is not here…

...either that, or they have not had their gear tuned up since 1998.

…either that, or they’ve chosen Terrain inappropriate for their skills…

…either that, or they woke up on the wrong side of the mogul...

‘Cause any way you cut it…

It's Just This Simple:

If Your Gear Is In Tune,

If You Know What You’re Doing…

On Terrain right for you…

Tremblant’s In Great Shape!

It would be, practically speaking, impossible for one individual to Ski,
Photograph, and document every Open Trail or every tiny small glitch,
so what we need to say is that with all the proviso’s noted above, you can not
make a bad decision with any appropriately selected Terrain you select
from Tremblant’s vast array of Beautifully Maintained Trails.

The most important things are to explore with reduced speed,
be mindful of others around you, and yes, even behind you, by
scanning before major directional changes, and to have freshly
tuned gear for optimal control responsiveness.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
