of Tomorrow’s Weather Notes @ 6:45 P.M.
One more cool overnight forecast, a Sunny beginning and a revised
Onset of Snowfall at around Noon.
The total Weather picture for tomorrow and Saturday has become more
complex by the convergence of 2 significant systems.
Number 1 is the tail end of the Big Snow that ran through just South of us
yesterday, which is dragging up a bunch of warm air from Texas behind it.
Number 2 is the Snow System that’s moving in across Northern Ontario, as in
above Lake Superior(The Lake Superior that is the largest body of Fresh Water
on Planet Earth) crossing such noteworthy communities as Wawa,
Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay, Ottawa, then over Tremblant.
There is a diagonal line, imaginary at this point, that is forecast to run
pretty much from Ottawa somewhere diagonally around 40 to 50 KM South
of Tremblant.
Below that line will see more Heat. Above that line will see less heat and more Snow.
When we put up the Long Term Forecast 2 days ago, the mix between the 2
systems was more defined, cold above, warm below, but at this point, the
clear definition is less certain and we may see some warm swirls of just
above Zero for a few hours, mostly at night, before sunrise, on Saturday.
Tomorrow's Skiing and Boarding will be Winter into Spring, and the Winter
part comes first and hopefully will include about 15 CM’s of Snowfall.
First Tracks will see somewhere around -17 C and it should rise
fairly steadily to -9 C by Noon when the cloud builds sufficiently to
start generating Snowfall. From there, it keeps on rising to -4 C by
Last Run.
Winds forecast to be Sou-East to South, so crossing from Duncan
towards Nansen at Moderate Speeds. The Summit may see some
gusting, but a lot less than recent.
Tomorrow's going to Start Like January and end like
March, a Great “Something for Everyone" Winter Day!

Where Are You? …and, Why Aren’t You Here?
Skiing and Boarding Par Excellence!
Absolutely Gorgeous End Of January Winter Conditions… on Lucky March 13th!
The only question you’ll be asking yourself when you get here is…
What took me so long? That will be the unescapable question you
will ask after your first run on these immaculate lines of Grooming
Corduroy Perfection.
Your Skis Are Calling You… Your Board Is Calling You…
“Take Me To Tremblant… I Want To Carve!!!"
(Skis and Boards overheard talking while you were in at Summit… “Nice Rack!”)
Conditions Notes: Expect typical end of January, beginning of February Skiing
and Boarding with Cold formed Wind Delivered Snow over a very firm Base.
Grooming will have rendered out at least 90% Very Fine, however, the
“Wind Delivered” part means there could be some Wind Blown exposed
icy substrates, so until you explore entire sectors to verify safe passage,
keep speed reduced in case you run into any of that.
Other Weather Notes:
Sunny, daytime high @ -8 C with Strong Nor-West Winds moving
across the Summit from Nansen towards Duncan. At these temps
with these winds you will need to bundle up for comfort, but if you
can find a quiet North Trail Side, like Mid-Banzai for example, Solar
energy will warm you up no doubt. The Sun is high enough that even
with some “cool” blowing around, in sheltered spots heat will come
through.

and you can get out anytime soon, you should make that a top priority.
Classic Tremblant Jan/Feb Winter Conditions in the middle of March are
rare and very much worth every effort you can make.
The big story we’ll be working on now is…
MORE BIG SNOW STARTING FRIDAY MORNING!
Wow… everything in todays report adds up to one conclusion…
if you can…
