It is currently -23 C, which is 5 degrees C cooler than forecasted for this hour
but besides the fact that it’s the middle of the night and we don’t have to be
outside right now, the cold will be crystallizing the Snow into the most
remarkably fine Alpine Ski/Board Surfaces for what might well be one of
the last 2 or 3 “Squeaky” Cold Corduroy Mega Carving Traction Mornings
until next November/December.
It won’t stay that way for long though as the sun should have enough energy to
rise the temps up to -10C by noon.
Statistically Speaking, there has been 58 cm’s or just shy of 2 feet of fresh
Snow in the last 7 days.
Here’s an overview/pictorial Sample Summary…
It’s not a fancy action shot, but it tells you all you need to know
about why any time you can be at Tremblant will be so good.
Below, we try to build a simple case for your immediate attendance
at Tremblant if you can. These are the kind of Late Season Conditions
that are so rare that they deserve effort to legitimately organize at
least a few extra Vacation Days to experience some of the finest
Performance Skiing/Boarding to be found on the East Coast of
North America, and if Pure Carving is your passion, perhaps anywhere
in the world.
We hope to see you on the Slopes.

Here’s an Instagram Social Media Quote:
"Meilleur pow de la saison!”
Translation:
"Best pow of the season!”
This Simple, Excellent Summary is just about all you need to know
for 3 reasons…
1) If you are an Expert, it is self explanatory.
2) It is the fundamental component of a Surface Refresher
that will be rendered into todays superb, immaculate, Corduroy.
3) It represents the addition of Both Durability and Quality to
every precious remaining day of this Extraordinary Season.
Please Note: "Emergency Escape To Ski Advisory” in effect.
This is exactly when you should be putting your own Emergency
Escape to Ski/Board Plans into effect. If you have the capability
to somehow get yourself onto the slopes for any extra days…
do it now.
Weather Notes:
Very Very Sunny with Very Cool Temps, starting at -21 C and rising
steadily through the Day to finally reach -10 C just a wee bit before
Last Run. It’s Arctic Air and there’s nothin’ we can do about that so…
Look forward to the Cryogenic, “Freeze Dried" Performance Qualities
of some Late Season “Squeaky’ Cold Snow.
There will be Heat in the Solar Rays if and where you can find Quiet
Trail-Side wind sheltered spots.
With a Nor-West Wind blowing up the Beauvallon Sector, those
Lee-side sheltered spots should be almost anywhere below
the Summit on the North, particularly on the Mid to Lower sections
of Duncan and the runs nearby.
The breezes should be at your back riding up TGV and Flying Mile.
No doubt, for this time of year, an unusually cool day, but the Very Fine
Ski Conditions will make all of that seem small by comparison.
You’ll be be having far to much fun to even notice much cool, if you’ve
done your duty on the right layers.
