There are some things we were wrong about…
There are some things we were right about…
But Friday, Regarding Certain Portions Of The Weather,
We Got This Part Right When We Wrote:
"If the temps of the winds aloft were even slightly cooler… at this close to
the freezing mark the Summit and The North Summit Sectors could actually
see a lot of Snow!"
The Edge Sector Summit 3.29.14:
which, by the way…. is on the North. If You Are A Regional Tremblant Fan and you can get out Sunday...
at this stage, it looks like it’s the last time you can put yourself into this picture.
In Tomorrow Mornings Conditions Report, we’ll tell you what we got Wrong,
but arguably, that part is neither as important or critical as what we got right.
------------- 6:30 A.M. Update -------------------
Official Open Trail List , Raw data copy attached below.
if you include all “Progressive” openings plus “Race” status,
Tremblant will be 100% utilized.
------------------------------------------------------
Preliminary ESTIMATE AT TIME OF EARLY POST:
92(*) open Trails, SUBJECT TO MORNING CONFIRMATION
Please Note: Very Early Posting Due to Previous Morning Commitments.
We are estimating the Open Trails under the Official Declarations
regarding North, South, Soleil and Edge Sector Openings for this
weekend.
It seems as though this weekend will be the last opportunity for this
season to access the total Terrain that we have enjoyed up to last
Sunday. This past 5 weekday’s available South and North has many
Tremblant Guests already missing some of their favourite zones and
runs so it will be interesting to see how many can attend to make the
most out of some very fine terrain that has not had any wear for
5 days now.
We hope to have an Apres Ski focused look at both the Edge and Soleil,
although it will be late in the evening before we can get that up due to
a very busy weekend of other Off-Mountain obligations we have.
Anyway, here’s a repeat of a Weather Network Graphic for Saturday
that we originally put up Friday, and it’s important to note the phenomenal
potential for Conditions if they materialize the way they are forecast.
If there’s a difference, it seems as though it’s going to be a couple
of Degrees C cooler. That will change the rate of Softening, if you
don’t have your “Edges”, you may notice that, but with Grooming
hopefully there will be a fine enough particle size to offset the firmness,
at least on the Groomed. On the Un-Groomed that will be a different story
until there’s a wee bit of Thermal Softening.
Hope to see you out on the Slopes…
69(*) Open Trails Excluding “Progressive”, “Race”, and “Event” Status
95/95(*) Including all of Above.

Progressive, actually delayed, due to other commitments…
...but late or not, more later, as soon as we can…
it may be after midnight.

you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential

page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
