Above:
The Tremblant Mountain Info. Crews Suggest you plan your last run and we agree
because accounting for all the members of your group at the end of the day can be
a rather random thing, so having a well understood Last Run organized helps
streamline your safe descent, particularly if there are different Skill Level
members that may need some extra time. Additionally, with the huge number
and length of the Trail Network, getting separated can happen, so having a planned
Last Run acts as a default Meeting time when your group knows to congregate at
the Summit and all the members can rely on that to safely reunite.
Below:
We Know Where We’re Going For Last Run... 6.2 Kilometres of some of the
finest Groomed Beginner/Intermediate Terrain Known To Exist. Nansen.

Otherwise... grey as it was, and despite the forecasted promise of Sunshine
during the day, the Skiing continues on at Extremely Fine on the Groomed
in particular. The Performance that these surfaces are capable of delivering is almost
any kind of Turning energy you can think of, let alone keep up with!

Better still... Make It Your Whole Day At Tremblant!
Regional Tremblant Fans...
Why waste time “Imagining” anything about your days at Tremblant, if you
could actually be here?
If you live within a reasonable drive, by Canadian Standards, anywhere between
Ottawa or Montreal, you can be on these extraordinarily fine, Groomed to very
close to perfection, super high performance, Top-to-Bottom, Side-to-Side, beautiful
Slopes at Tremblant within 90 minutes. To miss out, if you could be here, would
certainly have to be considered one of the biggest opportunities lost for all the
physiological and psychological benefits of healthy outdoor exercise known
to any Activity choice you could make in the recreational sports world.
These are the days that justify every single shred of effort and time commitment
you can make to get days off... book days off in advance... somehow, by any
means possible... etc., etc., etc. get your person onto some of the very best
Pure Winter Alpine Snow Sport Surfaces possible.
Too Much Fun??? Never, but we write about the sensory deferral of expended
effort frequently because of days like these. We theorize that what happens is
that due to the overwhelming sensations of Speed and Control, the brain is diverted
into nothing other than the pursuit of the Thrills being experienced in the performance
of the sport, i.e., the excitement of Skiing and Boarding elicits hormonal
activation of endorphin and/or adrenaline responses. Those responses over-ride
the sensations of fatigue that you might normally feel if you were at a Gym working
at the same rate of Calorie Burning Energy Levels. This rather addictive desire/response
for “One More Run” time, and time again, allow you to go longer than you would ever
think of going in any normal(boring) Gym setting.
Supporting this naturally induced exercise level of output with correct nutrition
and rest completes the sequence on a daily basis and if you string several days
together over the course of a week or if possible, a season... you can take your
personal fitness to new levels of vastly increased Strength and Endurance, not
to mention the outright Personal Joy you get from the Experience along the way.
Tremblant makes this possible by offering a number of Forms Of Seasons Passes
some of which are pre-paid Bundles of days like the T-66 or Sublime Pass
where you can get hugely discounted lift access with months of advance notice
to plan with. If you do not currently have one of those, then today is the day you
should flip your calendar pages ahead to next August/Sept. and mark in Big Fat
"Notes to Self”, ... “Get Tremblant Ski/Board Pass NOW!"
O.K. Kidz... Today we’re going to teach you how to become some of the
best Skiers on Planet Earth by Learning at Tremblant.

Another Advantage Of Skiing Boarding Tremblant Right Now...
2.10.15.Sud.South.Taschereau.Smooth.Swift.All.Day.Snow.c.jpg
After 40 some-odd days of Pure Winter 24/7 Sub-Zero’s, there is very little in the way
of daytime traffic affects on the Super Smooth and Very Stable Soft Snow Top Layers
due to the very deep Frost into Mountain Substrates that support the entire depth of
the Base as a solid platform.
The net result is that the Very Fine conditions at “Last Run” are about 95% of
“First Tracks”, so other than the fine lines of Corduroy which may or may not
be visible at “Last Run”, the quality of the Performance you get on your Skill Level
of Terrain is pretty much the same from beginning to end.
Please Note(**) Referencing the point immediately above:The Lead Photo for
this page above “Imagine This Was Your Whole Day At Tremblant”, was shot at
2:15 P.M.!, ...Ample and Very Clear Evidence that Corduroy can literally be found
at Tremblant just about all day.
