Today was the opposite of Yesterday in that it was Overcast in the Morning
and Sunny in the afternoon.
The Temp got up to -4C at Sud, South Base Level, just after lunch.
Skiing/Boarding... you already know... very, very fine.
It’s important to review the Weather Outlook over the next couple of weeks
because there will be a New Level of “User Friendly” in the daytime highs
that hopefully won’t be inclined to go above freezing, but will be on average
around 10 degrees C warmer than what we’ve had in the past 6 weeks or so.
If this forecast holds true, the Spring Skiing is going to be worth all the
planning you can put in place, very easy, very fine!
Make all the arrangements to get days off now...

96(*) Open Trails on the Finely Tuned 4 Sides of #Tremblant.
“Finely Tuned”.
If you have several times to “Refine" a project, it ends up getting better...
If you have multiple times to “Tweak” a project, it ends up getting better...
If you have numerous times to “Adjust” a project, it ends up getting better...
The Mountain Crews at Tremblant have been Adjusting, Tweaking and Refining
the project that is the Groomed Trail List for quite near 60 days and “Finely
Tuned” is what you get every day!
Not only has it gotten better, it shows no sign of anything but more “Better”
for at least the next two weeks, and by extension... for the rest of the Season!
Just Like Clockwork... These Crews are out there, literally waiting for
“Last Run” to be over. Then, they hit the Beautifully Stable Slopes
of Tremblant’s Pure Winter, Pure Snow, Base with another cycle of
Tweaking, Adjusting and Refining for another day of “Better”.
Then, there’s Snowfall, sometimes a fair bit, and off they go again.
It all adds up to the reason you want to get to Tremblant As Soon...
and As Often... as you can. That is of course if you’re a passionate
Ski/Board Fan and you love to have as much Open Terrain for exploration
as you can get.
Not Everyone Is As Enthusiastic... we hear it almost every day...
“I'm Sick Of Winter”, "It’s Been Too Long”, “When Will It Ever End?”, etc., etc.
That’s exactly when you need to Jump Into Winter With Both Feet!
Nothing makes Winter Flash By as Quickly as a Great Ski Season, once you
embrace it... it never lasts long enough!
“Spring Is In The Air”... oh yeah... if nothing else, the fact that the Sun is
so high in the Sky makes it feel more like Spring, and with that, even though
the overnights have been quite cold, there is a definite and growing intensity
to the Solar energy of the rays you can catch anywhere there’s a safe Trail-side
spot that’s Sunny and Wind sheltered, or if you’re on a Lift going with the wind.
Above: Riding up the Soleil Quad a couple of days ago, the Sun, and the light wind,
not even noticeable when we went up, were both at your back, and as we neared
the top, a strange sensation across the top of Dark Jacket over Shoulders....
Heat! We Were Getting Warm!
Wow... that’s a sign of Spring for sure...
