Day 2 Of Almost Perfect “Spring Skiing” at Tremblant...
If we told you the pic.above was February or March 8th, there would be no reason
to doubt it what-so-ever. Snow on the Trails, Snow in the Bush... All Winter, and...
in this case.... all April 8th, 2015.
Beautiful 95% wall-to-wall Coverage with so few glitches on the Groomed base,
it defies the date, but it’s true enough and after several runs you simply
begin to take it on face value... Excellent, Excellent, RELIABLE Spring Snow!
McCulloch was on/off Icy in the middle today where the majority of the traffic skids
across on it, but both sides had wonderful Snow coverage and the Left Side
descending had 3 metres wide Pure Powder Granular on the Packer ridge that
was flawless turning for the entire length of the pitch. The right side packer ridge
was “Air on every turn” and at reasonable speed, very easy fun. If there was no one
else around, higher speed carving using complete side-to-side trail traverses and
carving the turns on the softer outboard sides was a bit of a thrill!

Only a handful of days left now and despite some of the “Cool” Challenges
this Winter presented, it will be greatly missed. When it ends, and in future,
it will be reflected upon as perhaps the most unique, and clinically excellent
Ski Season we’ve ever been a part of.
