12/2/15 #Tremblant Conditions

Post by T360 »

5(*) Open Trails on the North and South Sides of #Tremblant.

Yesterday was...

Fast, Fun, Fast, Quick, Smooth, then some more Fast!

Great Technical Skiing with firm conditions that favour those with tuned gear
and smooth control execution.

(Today may still be Fast, but will be otherwise different due to
Weather Conditions as noted below.)

No Matter which way you put it, Pro’s in the know... Go Tremblant! ...and you should too!(**)

(**) All skill levels from Beginners to Intermediates, to Experts are going to find BOTH
easy and challenging conditions at Tremblant. The degree of “Easy” or the degree of
“Challenging” will be up to the Skier/Boarder to determine by utilizing the Open
Terrain at speeds that require appropriate knowledge of breaking, edge and steering
control at SAFE levels for the Trail conditions and traffic clearance.

Weather Notes:

Mother Nature is doing a “Warm-Wet” cycle today, with + 3 and light, drizzle/rain.

Bring your Descente Poncho if you want to stay Dry and Warm.

Coat Ski/Board Bases with “Warm” range Wax/Coatings to enhance Glide Factors.

There will still be good “Spring-like" Skiing/Boarding, and there may
also be intermittent/extended dry periods throughout the day.
(see Weather Network Graphic below).

Technically speaking, the “Firmness” in yesterdays conditions may be
completely erased by thermal influence in the top layers.

Page under Progressive assembly, More to follow, but the summary is that
Tremblant is in the best shape possible for the Weather Crews have encountered.

There is Total Mountain Vertical and Super Quick, Smooth Surface Conditions
that are a Ton of Fun, a Great Workout, and respond very well to sensitive
edge control due to the Firm Base.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
