O.K., so that’s a bit of a joke ‘cause we’re not going to totally abandon
you yet, but obviously, with only a small portion of the forecasted up to 40 Cm’s
potential snowfall, this is truly a “Game Changer” Blizzard Day so far and
the really interesting and useful part of the days reporting is going to be Apres Ski.
That being said.... there are a couple of basic insights we’ll leave with Global
Tremblant fans before heading out the door, but the lead Pic. above tells you
90% of what you need to know...

Todays conditions story could not help but be anything other that this immense
Snow Storm System.
Safe to say that conditions will favour those with Expert Skills.
For everyone else... Turning ability and your Basic “Snowplow”
wedge shape will be absolutely necessary to control speed,
and if it gets too thick... go in.
There’s nothing out there worth risking injury if you’re a beginner/intermediate
and feeling uncomfortable in deep fresh snow.
If you want to experiment and you feel confident with good muscle power,
try cheating a bit with a rearward biased sitting back position and feet pegged
together to help create a platform underfoot that will provide a bit of floatation.
