Todays Conditions were at a similar level to yesterday in most regards,
however there was a bit higher frequency of Pitch related Icy and/or Slick
bits.

Many of the groomed runs in the “Green’s” and “Blue’s” were exactly as they
were yesterday. The slick bits were primarily in the Steeper Pitches of the Black,
most difficult Trails of the Sud, South Side, that has had more wind exposure.

The Nord, North Side has clearly had more of the latest new snowfall and
Mountain Crews are using that to their advantage. The overnight grooming
has actually been able to excavate from the trail-sides to fill-in and level
the trail centres. In some cases, up to 2 feet of Trail edge snow has been
brought into the centre’s.

In this shot below, you can see the effects of Excavation as vertical

The Carving Energy that could be applied over the total square area of Open Groomed
Terrain would likely exceed what all but some Top-Level, World Cup, Pro-Skier/Boarders
could sustain for more than a few consecutive runs.

The reliability, the consistency, the universal presence of Quality across the entire
footprint of the Open, Groomed, Alpine Trail Network is impressive. You can find
traction that is very close to Flawless everywhere.

"Green" Is For GoTo On This Surprise du Jour!
Soleil Sector Algonquin, pictured above, has received a “Finished” level of
Coverage and Groomed preparation that is unmatched in any record we have
in terms of it’s Glitch-Free completeness.

Maybe there is one twig, or one pebble, or one slick bit out there on Algonquin
somewhere, but we took several runs on it yesterday simply because the first
run was so amazing, we had to go back just to savour its beautiful smoothness.

A Long-Time T360 Fan and Expert Skier, made the comment that Algonquin was better
than Nansen yesterday, and no matter whether you would agree or not, that might
just possibly be the very highest form of praise possible. Making a comparison to
Nansen which has been a standard of Excellence for 78 Years is a very significant
status to attach to Tremblant’s “Newest” major Trail opening in the last 10 years.

Banzai is one of our Top 5 “Canaries In The Coal Mine”, indicators of Sector
Health and Quality on upper Versant Nord. It has been groomed several times
this season which we believe is directly related to the abundant natural snow
that whole area has been favourably blessed with in the Drift-In patterns of
several of the biggest Snowfall Events of the Season.

Below:
On Top Of That... The Ravine Run-Out from Banzai/Le Tunnel to Lowell Thomas Bas,
Lower has been Groomed as well. This short connector link is usually very deeply
mogul’d and typically, it can actually be the most difficult portion of the Total Descent
Path that gets you to Gagnon from Banzai, but Groomed, it’s so easy it makes the
whole experience a complete joy. Another Excellent example of how a small(by sq. area)
refinement can make a HUGE difference in overall access and User-Friendly ease.

If There Was Such A Thing... We Would Nominate P’tit Bonheur for “The Best Green
Trail On Earth Award.” This Trail represents the epitome of “Goto” Reliable Quality,
Close To Flawless, From November 24th To April 15th. It's as if it has some sort of
Magic Cover that keeps it so near ideal, we can only think of it as very close to perfect.
Yesterday... Today... Tomorrow... no matter when... a run on this magnificent
Natural Wonder Trail should instantly convey its simply brilliant gently flowing fall line.

change in Trail Count Status.)

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
