Late Day Update 11.17.09

Tremblant Resort Firmly Committed to Opening Friday, November 20th, 2009.

In a Twitter post published earlier this afternoon, Tremblant states: "With 1037 snowguns, #Tremblant opens Nov. 20th whatever Mother Nature has to say about it! > http://bit.ly/4dqRSd"

So, there you have it Tremblant Fans, right from the source!

We could not be more pleased and we look forward to hitting the slopes first thing!

Potentially Great News for all Tremblant Winter Sport Fans this morning!

It seems as though there may still be hope for our season opening of November 20th, 2009.

Every attempt possible is being made as we can see by the Massive Snow Making efforts of the Tremblant Mountain crews that are underway at the time of this writing @ 7:50 A.M., Tuesday, November 17th, 2009.

All we can do is take a deep breath and hang in there for an official word from Tremblant.ca. The weather continues to be a wild card as temperatures hover around the levels needed to blow snow that will stick, so we need to keep our fingers crossed for good luck that we stay on the right side of cool for snow making.

Based on what we see here, we think it may be possible to build sufficient coverage for skiing/boarding on 2 or 3 top half runs, but ultimately, we will need to see how Mother Nature co-operates!
