Mother Nature continues to threaten “Spring”, but seems
to be definitely hanging on to “Winter”! If you consider the
14 day long range forecast to individual dates, it seems
as though March 20 will be the start of Spring practically,
so she might be out by a day officially, but we still have
another 2 days of winter to enjoy anyway!

Of course we’re overjoyed to see these very cool overnights
because every single one of them helps to extend the quality
of the upcoming Spring Ski Season in every respect.

You really want to be planning for this very sweet period
of time when there’s so much snow and such easy temps
for a classically excellent Tremblant Spring Skiing finale.

Weather Notes:

One of our very favourite things this morning...
A relatively low wind speed forecast is going to
help render out a wonderful, classic, Tremblant
winter day. With the sun this far up in the sky,
direct exposure this afternoon will seem HOT!

Today is the very first day “April” shows up on
the 14 day long range weather forecast below.
On one hand, we find that very “Alarming” to
except the advance of time towards approaching
seasonal changes, while on the other hand,
“Thrilled” at the prospect of such easy weather,
and looking forward to the Super-Shred performance
that’s just around the corner! Take a deep breath
and live for the moment!

Conditions Notes:

At 546 cm’s of natural snowfall in the base, about 50
of that in a little more than the last week, the stage is
already set, but with many more opportunities for more
snow it simply has to be a “WOW” forecast for the rest
of the official season!

The Spring Breaker’s are back at school,
Mountain traffic is light and the surfaces
are 100% Winter coverage.

If you can escape to ski, go as soon and as
often as you can. Hard to believe, but basically,
only a month left.

Sitting in Chawton, Hampshire, UK, or East Hampton,
Long Island N.Y. and thinking about a Last Minute dash
to Tremblant?

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
