12/21/09 Conditions

Christmas Countdown!

Pretty much a repeat of yesterdays EXCELLENT conditions
with 30 runs open, but with a big functional difference for
those of us lucky enough to be at Tremblant today...
Compared to yesterdays weekend attendance, there
should be lighter traffic on the Mountain.

Today may seem like you have Tremblant as a private club.
Even with a good Holiday crowd on hand at the resort, there
is enough open terrain that there should be not much in the
way of lines at all and you will be able to get tons of vertical.

Don't forget though, even if there are lift lines, if you are
anxious to get in lots of vertical, just hit the "singles” line
and for the most part, you should be able to blast right
through.

Today is just the first reason you should be at Tremblant
for the Holidays!

There are very few places on Planet Earth that are as
Beautiful as Tremblant at Christmas, the Village, the Mountain...
all wrapped up in lights, decorations and Christmas Ambiance
that define the warmth and charm of the Holiday Season.

The weather today is partially sunny, with moderate winds
coming from the North-West or moving up the Mountain from
the Nansen Sector at around 10 KM.

Riding up the TGV Quad Chair you should have the wind at
your back and riding up either the Duncan Quad or the Lowell
Thomas triple, you should be in the shelter of the Mountain
until you approach the summit.

Summit temps expected to be around -15C or 5 degrees F, so
even with the fairly light wind, you will want to bundle up and
keep those air seals around your neck and wrists nice and snug.

Another day of fabulous carving... Skis... Boards... Just GO!
