END OF SKI DAY UPDATE @2:50 pm:

Sorry to report to all Tremblant fans that the weather network
has once again revised the forecast and they are back to predicting
a modest rise in forecasted temps to just over the freezing mark,
starting at around 1:00 A.M. tomorrow morning and continuing for
aprox. 15 hours or so, until just after the lifts close, tomorrow afternoon.

In the mean-time, it should stay sub-zero cold and it should snow this
evening, somewhere up to around 14 Cm. It is too early to tell how this
will impact our surface quality, so we'll wait and see.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Sk/Board day report addition.

O.K., it's now almost 10 after 3 and we do have freezing rain moving
into the area despite our slightly sub-zero temp. Oh well, not much
we can do about that and hopefully the precipitation will change to
snow before long, as it is forecasted to do, then things will start to look up.

Unforunately, we do have a bit of freezing rain happening right now, but with any luck, that will change to snow soon.

Typically, the Summit temps may be up to 4 C lower than the base, so with any luck this little freezing rain we're getting now will not last too long, or have much effect up here.

Re: Saint-Donat, Mont-Tremblant Park reference above.

This may be one of those situations where we see (more) snow on the North Side... stay tuned...

Seems like we'll pretty much have to wait 'til morning to confirm snow.
