102(*) Open Trails.
Yesterday Was One Of The So-Far, Top 5 Technical
Front-Side Carving Days Of The Season.
We Forecast Today To Be Exactly The Same.

The quality of the groomed surfaces across all ranges
of Green/Blue/Black rated trail challenge is currently
at “Best Of” seasons standards, exhibiting extraordinary
consistency of grip, traction, smoothness, and mogul
resistant compacted density with all-day durability,
over the entire Mountain footprint. Simply stated,
Tremblant is a joy, everywhere.
We were very fortunate to randomly capture this Tremblant
Ski Instructor demonstrating outstanding technical carving
skill twice, above on the McCulloch Summit pitch, and below
on the Beauvallon mid-pitch adjacent to Alpine Bas/Lower,
just above the Progression Snow Park.
The levels of performance these groomed trail surfaces
are capable of supporting is obvious.

We Were Wrong...
Yesterday we posted a drifting picture and in the editorial
text with the pic. we estimated the depth at 1.5 metres.
It is actually 1.6 metres or more...
The skis are 160cm’s and they are not on
the ground.

Weather Notes:
Hello again, Polar Vortex...
Conditions Notes:
Generally: The overwhelming initial challenge is obviously
the cold temp’s. For that reason the longer chairlift lines
are on delayed opening because the Mountain safety policy
protects guests from even the potential of hypothermic
exposures if there was any kind of mechanical glitch.
In The Groomed:
Clinically excellent technical trail surfaces that are
simultaneously responsive, yet forgiving, across
the entire range of Green/Blue/Black ratings.
This is closing in on the apex of mature seasonal
refined development and the level of consistent
very high quality spans virtually the entire Mountain
footprint.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:
Abundant, thick, freshly fallen snow that has been
uniquely shaped by the vigorous winds that have
delivered it, now integrated into a base of 3.5 metres
or 11.5 feet. There are many and varaible challenges,
however both the softness and depth of it all has made
it very forgiving in the bumps, and a thick, but fun
workout in the Hors Piste.

they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
