Weather Notes:

A sunny but really crispy -15C at first tracks, supposed to warm
up a bit but you’re going to need to bundle up tight for this one...

It’s not going to be just the temp, it’s going to be the windchill
with gusting at the Summit, notwithstanding additional due to
headwind descent speeds.

For This Friday/Saturday Temp. Profile...

Cool Weather, Very Cool Style!

To keep frostbite at bay, the very best strategy is zero exposed skin
and a elastic breathable neck gator is an excellent option!

--------- 2.28.25 Insert Event Update: -----------

As far as we understand it, the Red Bull Raid is a Nordic Style event.
It’s scheduled for Saturday March 1, 2025. This is the second year being
held at Tremblant. It consists of a course that awards points for both
accent and descent. It is currently under construction at the Sud/South
Resort Base of St. Bernard and Johannsen.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Very high quality based on incremental grooming improvements
in the scope of rendering out any of the previous thermal effects,
resulting in a nearly complete restoration of the fine winter
conditions we’ve enjoyed for months.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

We think that the overnight cool temp is going to cook
out any of the residual thickness that came with the
recent heat. Mother Nature has cold as a very effective
method of “freeze-drying” the humidity out and
recrystallizing the top layers of un-groomed, especially
in the Sous Bois/Hors Piste.

Please See Preceding Days For Additional/Evolving Context.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
