40(*) Open Trails At #Tremblant.

The Big Questions Are...

Where Are You?

What’s Taking You So Long?

How Soon Can You Get Here?

For Your Info. Ski Summit Crew At La Crete.

The unique Info. Ski team at Tremblant have
only one mission... to optimize your days
on the Mountain with actionable intelligence
that you can apply to your next run, to every run.

But Seriously...

This is when the serious skiing really starts.

The big weekend special events are over, the happy
tourists have all gone home and anyone lucky enough
to be here over the next quiet week is going to enjoy
“Private Club” status without crowds, lines or restrictions
as rapid open terrain expansion accelerates on a daily basis.

Statistical Fact:

We Did Not Have This Much Snow Last Season Until January 2.

Weather Notes:

Another Cool One...

Todays weather influences are a direct
carry-over from yesterday as the active
push continues from West to East.

However... there is a warming trend working
its way into our region by mid-week which
is a fracture in the Southerly protrusions of
the wavy Polar Vortex. Please note both the
10 day long range and supplemental weather
data for what you can expect if you’re arriving
in the near future.

Temperature swings up/down/around Zero C are absolutely
a common and regular occurrence in any normal mid-December
weather cycling, but for this season we’ve just not seen any
of that so-far. Obviously the early cool and very snowy start
to the has been most favourable for skiing conditions so we
have to be thankful for all the associated benefits that we will
enjoy for the entire season. There is no substitute for an early
foundational base and there is nothing in the forecast that
can or will diminish that fundamental asset now.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Exceptional Mid-December conditions as a consequence
of historically high ratios of natural snowfall in the finished,
groomed trail network.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

Just in case you missed it...

Statistical Fact:

We Did Not Have This Much Snow Last Season Until January 2.

Here’s a visual sample just to give you a current Sous Bois
frame of reference.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
