94 Open Trails under sunny skies with a
moderate North wind and daytime temps
just over the freezing mark at base level.
Summit temps should remain nicely below
freezing and with the North wind, we expect
the impact of solar energy to be reduced as the
Mountain should get a steady stream of cooling
air.
Slight cooling yesterday was helpful for
surface quality preservation and overnight
lows at or just below -10C are also welcome
for the same reason.

quality of its preparation are immediately apparent.

new trail a wonderful place to learn or refine technique.

Back To Mountain Conditions, Generally Speaking...
What we are looking for from Mother Nature
would firstly be a major blizzard, but if we
can't have that, then we need temps cool enough
that we don't lose our snow surface conditions
too quickly as spring definitely seems to be in
the air, as they say.
Surface conditions today will be variable due to the
direct sun and warm temps that some areas have gotten
and other areas have been sheltered from. There may be
slick portions to watch out for, so we encourage caution
this morning as you cruise around the Mountain. Speed
can be a dangerous thing if unexpected situations occur
within your pathway.
Yesterday we saw a "Close Call" where someone came
out of a trail side bush run at a high speed without looking
and came within inches of colliding with an innocent skier.
Unfortunately, the careless individuals may be the least
likely to respond to a call for safety, but that just means
the rest of us have to be always watching out. Safety is often
a "6th Sense" proactive awareness, so keep the eyes in the
back of your head alert.

and even though it may look like spring in places
you can still find these winter treasures if you take
the time to look for them. Typical of this time of year,
the North holds on to winter longer.

The transition to spring is beginning, so we encourage
one and all to get out to Tremblant to enjoy the fine
weather and the great skiing!
Our snow surfaces have some of the finest carving
conditions we've seen all season and half the fun is
exploring the Mountain to find the best lines.
