Preservation Mode.

66 Open Trails as we work our way toward
the middle of the week with another day of
gorgeous sunny spring warm weather.

What can we say when we go from 90 some odd
trails yesterday, down to 64 today? This open trail
reduction is necessary to preserve snow surfaces
that are very sensitive to heat and wear.

We can't change the temps Mother Nature sends us every
day, but the wear factor can be reduced, thereby slowing
the process down, so the most sensitive runs are off-line,
allowing the Mountain Crews to hopefully preserve terrain
for the busy spring ski weekends.

The Tremblant Mountain Crews are very good at making
these kinds of decisions. Years of experience give them the
advantage when it comes to making our season last as long
as possible, so we support them completely.

Taking a look back at the weekend, a colourful crowd
enjoying a great day.

Tremblant's Mountain Crews will have the open terrain in the
best possible shape, while preserving as much as they can
for the durability of our season. Get out and enjoy the fine
weather and support Tremblant!
