You can usually count on the North Side for Great conditions'
but especially now, when it is much less effected by the
massive solar radiation that the South and Soleil are getting.

A word about today's photography...
firstly, we're not professional photographers.
Secondly, even pro's face challenges in difficult
lighting situations... so then yesterday's photography
was one of those occasions when the ambient light
seemed to be flat and bright at the same time.
Normally, our camera gear copes very well with natural
variations, but in this case Mother Natures lighting
seemed to be able to trick the camera. One reason
may be the dramatic differences between the intense
reflective surface of a Ski Run compared to the dark,
light absorbing backdrop of the bush, but for whatever
reason, in order to get the above photo of Sissy Schuss
to show any detail required settings that make the final
image look a little blue. This is all part of spontaneous
snap-shot amateur photography, so our apologies to any
pros that may look at these shots with a critical eye.
This shot below, taken the day before yesterday shows that Glade
conditions off the Edge sector are still in fair shape. That
should hold for at least another week if we do not see too much
heat, sun and/or rain.
