Only 6 Days Left, Season '09/2010
"Warm" Wax/Coat Your Skis/Board,
Toss Them In The Vehicle And Head
For Tremblant!
Things are already better than forecasted with
partially sunny skies and no rain in todays outlook.
21 Open Runs featuring 4 total ways from top to
bottom between both South and North sides.
On the South you can go "Top to Bottom" on Beauvallon
or Nansen and there's a third top access via McCulloch to
join up with Beauvallon.
On the North, you have either Beauchemin or Duncan,
"Top to Bottom" with additional top access via Rope Tow,
Rigodon, P'tit Bonheur, Axel, and La Traverse.
BONUS:
Top Side Lapping, South, Via TGV High Speed Quad!
We're always thankful to be outdoors skiing,
getting fresh air and exercise, so we can
only be positive and thankful for what we
have open.
Things could be a lot worse... like closed,
so our thanks go to the entire Tremblant
Team for all the effort necessary to keep
our season alive!

The Weather Is A Complete "WildCard" For
The Next 6 Days...
AT THIS POINT...
Reviewing near term weather models for
the next 6 days from different sources
shows numerous different possibilities
including Sun, Rain, and even Sub-Zero
temps and Snow, all at the same time!
Obviously, that's not possible, so considering
there is no consensus by weather forecasters,
who all seem to be changing their views by the
hour, we simply say... be prepared for anything
and just go anyway!
From Yesterday's Apres Ski Report:
"Only 6 days left for the true Ski and Board freaks
to get in some last turns, so if you're part of that
dedicated group, nothing else matters.
Like us, if there's a strip of snow wide enough to turn
on and a way to get to the top of it, you'll be there
anyway, rain or shine.
There will be good skiing and boarding... period.
The best odds are going to be on the North Side
and the highest rate of enjoyment will belong to
those who have a positive attitude, a good, solid,
technique with a compact stance, and lastly, but
certainly not least, "warm" wax or base coating
to create a hydrophobic, water repelling layer.
In our opinion, if any of the main runs like Beauvallon,
Alpine, Nansen, McCulloch, Beauchemin, Rigodon,
La Traverse, P'tit Boneur and Rope Tow/Lowell Thomas
stay on the open list (as they all are for tomorrow)
it's worth every effort."
