Countdown to Warm...
Believe it or not... but as this is being written, the Weather
Network is calling for a 13C rise in temps within the next
3 hours, so the -37C now will not be around for too long.
There should be good thermal energy in the sun this A.M.
and the wind will be light from the south, or coming up the
Soleil Side.
The total rise in the temps today should get us up to a much
more manageble -16C by shortly after lunch, so we can look
forward to a very pleasant afternoon.
Today should be the last cold day as the weather calls for a
return to warmer, average seasonal values tomorrow and
that warm trend is forecasted to be around for the next 2 weeks!
The skiing and boarding will be excellent, however, so if you
have the right gear to cope with "cool", then head on out and
enjoy, but please be careful to make sure there are no exposed
noses, cheeks or ears, or any other part of you, because at this
level, damage can occur in about 4 minutes.

An amazing 33cm of new snow has fallen this past week,
leaving us with incredible snow conditions! It’s not to be
missed!
***Please take note that certain trails as well as the Soleil
and Duncan Chair lifts will have a delayed opening due
to the cold weather. Shuttle busses will be available from
the Soleil base to the South base at 8am, 9am and 10am.***
