"Spring" Skiing for a day!

"Spring" Boarding for a day!

The weather forecast has changed quite a bit for the better.

Originally, the warm spell was supposed to have about 30 hours
of rain, but that has been reduced to about 14 hours now, starting
at about 10 P.M.

Also, the temps should not go as high as was thought.

NO RAIN TODAY, Just Warm, Spring like conditions.

It should actually be a unique day, in a positive way, on the slopes.

At this precise moment, is seems mostly just sort of “grey"
overhead and that's not to hard to take.

If there is not much direct sunlight, then the warm temps
will not have as much impact on our surfaces.

The open run count this morning is at 54.

The Edge and Soleil sides are closed today and there could be
"running" changes to the trails open through the day, depending
on the weather.

All we can do on a day like today is make the best of it
and have fun anyway!

Look at the Bright Side... You won't have to worry about
being too cold today!

The skiing, and we are told on very good authority, the boarding
as well, was nothing short of Great today.

Sure, there was some fog at the summit, however, that did not
detract from the excellent surface we had to work with.

The carving grip level was very high, and there was no rain at all.

There were some dripping trees in the bush, but that was no more
than snow melting out of the branches.

It was a great day and everyone out there seemed to be pleasantly
surprised with the high quality.
