Apres Ski... Please accept our apologies for no Apres Ski, however,
due to technical issues we lost internet last eve., so information will
now be rolled into next day's report. Sorry about that...

Sunny! ...and Cool! @-13C this A.M., but it is forecasted
to rise fairly quickly to -3C. The sky actually has that
kind of "Warm Spring Sun" look to it, even though it
hasn't quite achieved the "warm" part yet.

There's no doubt that with the sun this bright, and now at the height
in the sky that comes with Spring, there's going to be a ton of thermal
energy on the slopes of Tremblant today!

What we're hoping for is that the summit and the upper portions
of the Mountain may have escaped any lasting "Plus" C, or thaw effects
of the surfaces and that consequently, the fine carving and edge
set qualities have remained winter-like.

Time will tell, so a lot of today's report will revolve around Apres Ski
when we can elaborate on all the detail.

In the mean-time, we're running a repeat of our "Do the Math"
on the Tremblant Sikwam Spring Pass because this is a very important
feature with significant benefit for Tremblant Alpine Snow Sports
enthusiasts from ANYWHERE! There are no restrictions on the availability
of this excellent program, so if you can get here, you can ski or board
Tremblant on a multi-day basis, very efficiently.

----------- Repeat, Sikwam Pass... "Do The Math" ---------------

Let's Do The Math...
On the Tremblant/Telus Sikwam Pass...

If this sounds like a promotion on this pass, too bad. The bottom line
is that it is an excellent deal. Not everyone who loves Skiing or Boarding
is rich, so the truth is that the Tremblant Sikwam pass is nothing short
of an outstanding value for all those that share the passion for Skiing
and Boarding and are on a budget.

We called Tremblant's Customer service line to get the total with all
the fees and taxes and they quoted us $173.14, all-inclusive from the
advertised retail of $149.00. So then, let's look at a few scenario's
on the basic math here.

If you're "local" meaning you can easily come for the day or the weekend,
you can get 6 weekend days, so $173.14 divided by 6 = $28.86. per day.
If you could swing 2 additional "hooky" days, $173.14 divided by 8 =
$21.64 per day. Let's say you live in Albany New York, U.S.A., Kitchener
Ontario, Canada or Chawton, Hampshire, U.K. and you could wrangle a
week off, because the Sikwam pass is unrestricted, $173.14 divided by 7 =
$24.73.

The question then becomes... Where could you ski or board anywhere
with the scope, quality and charm of Tremblant for the mid-twenty buck
mark, per day? We think the answer is obvious... nowhere!

The cash you save with the Sikwam Pass can be applied to other expenses
like transportation, fuel, food, accommodations, etc., so it can literally make
it affordable to get in a whole bunch of excellent Spring Skiing at Tremblant.

This Sikwam pass is a seriously great deal
and the fact that Tremblant has such great coverage and
conditions make it outstanding.

Spring Rule #2
There will always be great Skiing and Boarding
within all skill levels of open terrain at Tremblant.

Due to the variable nature of Spring conditions, such as
temperature differences between Base and Summit,
sun exposure on the different sides, recent "plus" "minus"
daily temp swings, recent precipitation, either snow or rain,
things can be hugely different as you explore the Open terrain
each day.

Part of the fun is cruising the Mountain to find the best areas
that suit your preferences. Please use caution with speed and
discover slowly, before ripping around.

Conditions that are an absolute joy to some are not to others,
so start by selecting trails that are appropriate for your skill
level and go from there.
