One Pic. Fun Forecast !!!
------------- 8:42 A.M. Weather Observation/Update --------
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This is pretty much all you need to know about the Weather today…
What we’ll talk about is how to Optimize Utility.
A Summary of the past 24 Hours:
Yesterday Thaw/Damp, Overnight Sub-Zero, Daytime Brilliant Sun With
Modest Temp Increase To +2 C.
The Laws Of Physics Apply…
Yer Gunna’ Need These...
Got No Edges… Got No Fun...
The Laws Of Physics Apply…
There will be “Icy” in the mix… and You’ll need Sharp Edges to have
Optimal Utility. Period.
Mountain Crews will have rendered out many, many kilometres of
well Groomed surfaces with top layers of quite fine Granular, so
even if you do not have fresh edges you will be able to have fun anyway,
just not as much.
“Optimize Utility” doesn’t mean you can’t Slip-slide around and have fun,
but it does mean that to get the most out of the day at any level of
safe performance, the only way to accomplish that is to be able to have
your Skis or Board interface with the surfaces in the most efficient
transfer of energy possible.
That can ONLY be done when you go to:
The Chalet Des Voyageurs, at the Base of the South Resort Cabriolet Lift,
adjacent to P1 Parking Area.
Go In To Le Ski Shop and ….
Of Course… you can take your gear to “Where-Ever Ski Shop” in “YourTown”,
but without a single word of exaggeration, NO ONE delivers a better Value
than the Pro’s of the Tremblant Ski Shop.
They have a discounted Over-Night rate that is the “Optimize Utility” Bargain
of the Decade.
If it’s been a while… you will literally think someone gave you New Skis.

scroll ----->>> for complete data display. If you are a regular reader, you’ll know we often refer to
the “Incremental Improvements” of daily Grooming Cycles…
That’s going to render Tomorrow the Crown Jewel of the Week…
…because with coolish temps today, Summit and North Sectors may not
experience excessive softening, so Overnight, Sub-Zero Grooming has a very high
probability of generating some spectacular day 2 Cool Spring Granular for Tomorrow.
Consequently...
“Hooky Day Alert” Issued for Thursday, April 10th, 2014.

you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
