Two Seasons In aprox. One Day… as in a 28 Hour Period….
Summer Today… Winter Tomorrow…
Forecasted High Temp Today @ 21 C and Sun...
Forecasted Temp 28 Hours from todays High…. -1 C and Snow!
Here’s The One Pic Summer Skiing Performance Forecast:
Fast n’ Fun!
Today is the Scheduled reduction in Sector Openings to South only
(for Monday through to Thursday), and with the additions of the
Progressive Openings, there will still be more than enough terrain
for an excellent Spring Skiing workout.
An eventually limiting factor may be the moisture saturation in the
top layer that can create speed drag in the form of water film on
Ski/Board base acting as suction.
Obviously, any sort of Hydrophobic(Water Repelling) Ski/Board
Base Wax or Coating treatment that can either reduce or eliminate
the formation of a water film on your running surfaces will be
a HUGE Asset today and probably, for any day left in this final
week of the 2013/14 Winter Season.
