-12 C Overnight Pretty Much Solidified Everything
That Was Soft From The Preceding Days Of “Wet/Warm”
Up To Yesterday.
We think that’s why there are no “Progressive” Openings this morning at all.
Cool, Crisp, Clear!
These South-East Summit Views over Duncan are all that are available
early this morning as the Wind Driven Precipitation from 180 Degrees
to the North-West has completely covered the Web Cam Globe with Ice.
As the Sun Builds Thermal Energy, the Globe will warm up internally
and should melt that off later this morning so you’ll be able to scan the
Gondola, La Crete, Lowell Thomas Sectors when that occurs.
As you can see from these 6:40 Sunrise Web Cam Eye Openers,
there was some Snow, and Grooming should have produced
Very Fine Granular over top layers, but with the Elevation
Differential that would have put the Summit somewhere
around -16, -17 C or so, there’s no doubt that the top layers
will be thin and the Substrates will be icy.
It’s those pesky Laws Of Physics…
The Scenery on the other hand is going to be Absolutely Spectacular!
