After all the weather we've had over the last few weeks,
to have this much coverage with the quality we have is
quite remarkable.
2 main factors involved are:
1) All the hard work of the Mountain crews who have
made the very best of things in terms of both preserving
and maintaining our surfaces.
2) Just about 8 weeks of solid -27 to -32C back in the
heart of winter put the frost so deep into the Mountain
that it is acting as an ambient cold reserve which will
take a long time to come out and is protecting our base.
Spring conditions like this have only occurred twice in
the last 10 years or so. If you are not here now, you need
to make your plans NOW to get out on the slopes at
Tremblant AS SOON AS YOU CAN to take advantage of
this rare treat!
