It was everything you expect from a Classic Tremblant Winter Day.
Fabulous Groomed Snow Surfaces on all Skill Level Rated Terrain...
Absolutely Super Solar Energy that could warm you up in minutes
with a quiet Trail-Side Break.
Uncrowded Slopes that were just asking you to “Turn it up a Notch”...
And on a practical note: The Sun is high enough in the Sky now that
there is more direct light on the Trail Surfaces. This extra light, which
is considerably brighter than even just a couple of weeks ago, makes
detail recognition far easier so there is much more dynamic contrast
in surface contours to help navigation.
Mountain Utility Note: Weekend and onward...
The first incremental extension of Open Hours ’til 3:45 starts on Saturday.
The longer days are catching up, so.... Get Ready For More Tremblant!
More later, if possible.

No Matter What Your Point Of View... Tremblant is Beautiful In Every Way.
We don’t know quite what to say in terms of motivating you to get out
other than to try to re-emphasize all the personal benefits that come from
days spent on these finely prepared Snow Surfaces.
Maybe one way to express it is that days here at this stage of a very quickly
maturing winter, are uplifting to the Human Spirit.
Physiologists might say that’s tied into a Hormonal Cascade that the Human
Organism goes through during the course of extended high energy athletic
endeavour, i.e., “Runners High”, but we think it’s way more than that.
As You travel around the Mountain, within each of the P.O.V.’s sampled above
you seem to experience this sort-of etherial connection with the essence of
Mother Natures Majestic Grandeur, her ability to amaze you one moment
with the limitless scope of the Infinite Panoramas, then in what seems less
than a few heartbeats, to completely surround you with the intimacy and
the closeness of the Soft Snowy Shapes of the Mountains Interior Spaces.
The bottom line is that it’s a totally unique combination of all these things
and more, but you quite simply need to be here to get that in the most direct
way.
Our efforts to convey that with Words and Camera could never match the
moments of your personal realization here, they could only suggest that
what you will experience at Tremblant will be far greater than any media
can portray.
If you’ve been here before, they can only remind you why you have to return.
Weather Notes:
Sunny, More Sunny, then still more Sunny. Near Picture Perfect.... for Winter!
Daytime high temp@-7C, light to moderate Nor-West Breezes ... Very easy.
