3/6/15 #Tremblant Conditions

Post by T360 »

96(*) Open Trails on the 4 Nippy Kkkkoool Sides of #Tremblant.

That is of course, only if you think the Sunrise -32C is either Kkkool,
or Nippy for March 6th?

WOW... The Winter That Refuses To Give Up!

THE GOOD NEWS... A 23 Degree C Rise in temps today to -9C! ... Another WOW!

The Other Good News.... The Groomed Trail Surfaces should be Fantastic!

It’s going to be another day of All-Day Quality and here’s how we think it’ll
look...

The Other, Other Good News.... Every single overnight like that helps extend
the Quality and the Quantity of “Spring” Conditions... whenever that may be?

There’s not a damn thing we can do about the Weather, so we might as well
adapt cheerfully and enjoy the benefits of Cryogenic, super cool effects on the
Tremblant Groomed Trail Network, where we’re predicting an outstanding day
of performance for all Skill Levels.

The minor proximity to Zero and a degree or two of “Plus”, slightly above Zero,
48 hours ago has not materially affected hardly a snowflake and conditions continue
to be “Pure Winter”. Thank goodness for the consistency because the preservation of
such remarkable surfaces is a Skiers Dream that Tremblant Fans and Guests have
been living for over two months!

No January Thaw...
No February Thaw...
and so far...
No March Thaw...

It’s almost unbelievable, but if you point your Skis or Board down the Very Fine
Slopes at Tremblant, you will instantly become a believer because the Excellence
in the Conditions is Immediately apparent.

Each and Every Night...

Crews get an immediate Apres Ski start on the Grooming and all Tremblant
Guests get the benefit the next morning.

Special Announcement:

4 Day, Pure Winter, Ski/Board Conditions Mother Nature Sale!

(Subject to confirmation by Mother Nature)

Basically, with the projected rise in temp’s on Tuesday to above Zero,
this Seasons Miraculous, Record Breaking run of Pure Winter Conditions
on the Mountain is likely to come to an end after a mind boggling 71 Days!!!
(Especially Mind Boggling when the previous observed record is 49 days!)

That means Regional Tremblant Fans who want to grab a last shot at History...
have today, Saturday, Sunday and Monday... 4 days left, to sample possibly
the longest run of close to flawless, across the widest range of Groomed
Terrain for all Skill Levels, ever known to exist.

The World Is Not Going To End, and for sure, Tremblant Fans still have over
a Month of fantastic Spring Skiing/Boarding to look forward to... but...
it won’t be the same once we return to the typical weather patterns for
this time of the year that naturally include temperature cycles above and below
Zero C.

At that stage the absolute carefree, universal access to the current 98% Pure
Snow Base is probably going to be reduced, and the “warm” that comes with “Spring”,
is going to put us back to a more normal daily conditions scenario.

We Love Winter, so we’re thankful for every second of every day we have it
in such pure form, and we will miss that purity even as we look forward to the
easy beauty that this Springs Conditions are certain to have.

If you have the discretionary ability to get out for any of the next 4 days,
do yourself a favour and make your way to Tremblant A.S.A.P.

When you can’t make a bad decision...
When things are so complete and excellent...
When things are so reliable...
When things are day-in and day-out consistent...
...it’s actually harder for us because there’s not as much variation to
report on, so the return to normal seasonal patterns will actually make
reporting easier in the sense that there’s a wider variation in the way
individual sectors or trails respond to weather and wear. But... we’re
still going to miss this fabulous run of Winter and we do hope to see
you on the slopes for what might be the last, sweet, 4 day portion of
this Winter that has had such extraordinary durability.
“Spring” is on the way...

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
