It would be hard to imagine a more User Friendly day in terms of virtually
Flawless Groomed terrain, as well as quite possibly the easiest, close to zero
temps we’ve seen in Months without going over into the “Plus” or the warmth
disturbing as much as a Snowflake.

The kind of day that makes you regret the approaching end of the season, the kind
of day that shared with Friends, you wish might never end...

Tomorrow: Same, for the most part, at least during Open Hours. It may
rain or Snow tomorrow night, but as far as the day is concerned...

All You Need To Do Is Go!

71(*) Open Trails on the South and North Sides of Very Sunny #Tremblant.

Very Sunny, Very Beautiful!

Starts out Cool at -20C, but rising 20C to end up at Zero or +1C under
a Very Sunny Sky, so preparations for shedding layers are going to be the key
to all day comfort.

With less than 3 weeks left in the season and not even a hint of deterioration
in the High Performance Surfaces that have been so extraordinarily consistent,
it almost seems hard to believe that winter is going to come to an end soon.

The only undeniable sign is the length of the daylight hours and the height of the
Sun in the Sky, but even with that, the contradictory signals Mother Nature keeps
sending with these Super Cool nights and mornings seem to defy what should be
the natural progression of a genuine Spring warming trend that should be happening
as the Northern Hemisphere tilts toward a more direct heat exposure.

Future Tremblant Historians, Ski Holiday Trip Planners, Weather and Climate Change
Researchers, and anyone else looking back at this time period for any reason... are
going to be able to find a wealth of data that may provide understanding beyond
what we currently know, but at this moment Eastern North America is the only spot
on planet Earth having this experience, and here at Tremblant, the benefit is astounding
Skiing and Boarding Quality that is no different at the end of March than it was at the
end of January.

We certainly sympathize with our non-Ski/Board friends who roll their eyes when
we talk about “Endless Winter”... but within the tight community of dedicated
Winter Alpine Snow Sport Fans we know, there is a sense that we’re living through
an obscure slice of History that only a minority of the regional public cares to
appreciate.

In the mean-time, for those who care... just as the winter weather does not seem
to want to quit... neither do the conditions, so while discussing any love for them
may get eggs tossed in your direction out in the normal world, out on the slopes,
there are nothing but smiles and plumes of Snow dust in the air as the fraternity of
Ski/Board alumni in attendance congratulate themselves on the Great, Good Fortune
that somehow is extending their Winter far beyond any dreams they dare hope for,
or admit to in public.

Mountain Crews are working on the Lowell Thomas Sector Trail “Rope Tow”,
pictured here under the Lowell Thomas Triple Chair. We will update that later on,
but there was a significant amount of Snow being moved yesterday so it will
be interesting to see what the final shape becomes.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
