T360 Apres Midnight, Apres Ski Edit @ 12:55 A.M.
Tremblant is...
Simply Gorgeous!!!

Proof Of Snow:
Please Note Ski Pole on Right Side of Skis Pushed
straight into Lowell Thomas Sector, Trail-Side Snow.
This Ski pole is 48” (inches) or 122 Cm’s, So In
This Location, on this Date, there are Snowpack
Contours over 4 Feet deep. Absolutely Amazing
for this date!
((**)Please Note: Trail-side Tree Debris in above
Proof of Snow is visible because it has been there
all along from every windy Snow Storm, but does
not melt as snow recedes, leaving it on the surface.
It is a mixture of very soft Fur Tree needles, fallen
leaves and shredded bark that is completely harmless
and a very healthy part of Mother Natures natural
composting process that can be found everywhere
in the seasonal cycles of a healthy forest.)
More on all this in A.M.

44(*) Open Trails on The Overnight Re-Froze Slopes of #Tremblant .
Thank Goodness For A “Cool” Night!
We think it’s exactly what slopes need to re-stabilize
surfaces that could be otherwise too soft for practical use.
With a Forecast High of +13C,
All The Softness Will Return...
We’re projecting a Return To Softness between 10:00 A.M
and Noon for Slopes starting with Lower Elevations and
gradually working up to Summit Levels.
All the Green Terrain starts out Corduroy Groomed,
but within a short time, traffic generated tracked-up
surfaces become normal. Fortunately... it stays all-day
smooth, which you can see below on this P’tit Bonheur
Last Run Sample from yesterday.
Much of the Summit Level, inner Versant Nord, North Side
Terrain attached to the Lowell Thomas Sector has gotten
the advantage of some of the Mountains deepest surviving
Natural Snowpack from an entire Winter of accumulated
Drift-In, where there are still contours with up to 100cm’s
of depth.
Le Tunnel, Trail #66 is a Classic Example.
Please Note: The Twigs visible are from the whole winter’s
snowfall weight and were there all along. They don’t melt off
with the Snow, so they get left on top, but they are dry and
most fall apart on contact as they are small, brittle and fragile.
You don’t even feel them as you ski through, and they do not
damage ski bases at all.
At The End Of The Day...
Everything we write about this Season’s
closing days are...
Reflections Of Spring.
Weather Notes:
44(*) Open Trails on the Archival Copy of Official Open Trails,
Grooming, Snowmaking, Lift Status and Mountain Conditions

Please Note: The Official Data Page initially showed 40(*), but this
Graphic Shows 44(*) Open Trails. T-4 Days Left In Super-Season 2016/2017...
Somehow Mother nature Seems to be perfectly
matching remaining Open Days with Just enough
Snow and Just Enough “Cool” to have Great Conditions
for the Official Closing Holiday Weekend!

Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
