T360 Early Evening Apres Ski Edit, Under assembly @ 7:12 P.M.
The Snow On Tremblant's Groomed Trails Is Exquisite.
Please Note: all three of the following are on Versant Soleil Algonquin.
It is arguably the fastest it’s been all season(?) today. It Is Only One
Example Of DOZENS!!! There are very few on the trails and it’s like
you’ve got your own private club.

The Performance Is Outstanding.
For the last several weeks, we’ve been writing about the reserves
of both snow @ 546cm's Season-to-date, and the depth of the frost,
as two major stabilizing factors in the continuity of trail surface
quality. Today exemplifies every positive attribute of those, all
wrapped up in the outstanding overall condition of the entire
Tremblant Alpine Snow Sports Trail Network. Period.

If your Not Making ASAP Spring Skiing Plans For Tremblant,
you fall into a group that represents the clinical diagnosis of...
“Nuts”.
We’ll add more here later on tonight if we can,
but in the mean-time, you really need to get serious
about planning your days to take advantage of all this.
You’re crazy if you don’t...

Over On Versant Nord, the North Side, examples
like Banzai(that we use as a fundamental diagnostic
element), is at, or near its seasonal peak conditions.
Banzai has exceptionally user-friendly surfaces for those
with the skills appropriate for the official “Black” trail
rating.

The traffic is light, conditions are great,
all you need to do is get here. Better than
any Gym on the Planet... Skiing Tremblant
is good for your health! Mind, Body, Spirit...
They write books about the “Joy Of Skiing”
because of days like today...

Wow, What An Amazing Day Ahead!
-------------- 9:45 A.M. Update: -----------------
What you see is exactly what you get...
Beautiful!

From a -23C “Eye-Opener”, up to -1C by just after Last Run!
Any 22C Daily Temp Spread certainly qualifies as a “Wow” factor,
but especially as Old Man Winter “Spanks” New Born Spring into life!
Skiing/Boarding, Winter/Spring, All In One, EXCELLENT!
Weather Notes:
A 22C temp spread is near-impossible to dress for in a singular
approach, so one trick to allow for the safe removal and storage
of layers necessary for early cool is to immediately secure a locker
at Summit or Nord, North Base, while they are available, before you
make a bunch of runs. That way, when the heat hits, you’ve got a spot
to quickly store all the bulk.
We really like the decreasing wind speed forecast values
which are just one more reason this afternoon should
get quite close to “Ideal” from a number of synergistic factors.
Conditions Notes:
There’s only one trail closed so-far, Vertige, Trail # 13.
Here’s a hand-held Old Mt.T. Village hill-side zoom-in
(@ approx. 1000mm eq.FL), from the same position
as the lead Pic. above. You can scroll back up and see
Vertige almost dead-centre at the Summit. It is the
right side fork of the “Y” shaped trails, to the
left of the Summit Lodge, in the first pic. above.
We suspect it’s due to the very top lip having
either/both icy or rocky bits. This lip going
over the edge of Vertige is highly sensitive to
Westerly oriented winds, so it’s not a surprise
after recent weather.

The haziness you see is a combination of thermal atmospherics
and the very long telephoto. Otherwise it shows the rest of
Vertige to be quite well covered, so if it was just “Icy” we might
see it reopened if the warm afternoon softens it up enough?
Everything else is going to be excellent at temps rise, so
this afternoon could have some genuinely spectacular Skiing!

More following as time permits, but basically,
it’s like a whole season, time-lapsed into one day!

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
