All things considered, pretty dog-gone good! As Experts,
we think it's Great! ... but we look at even challenging
conditions as an opportunity to learn, grow and get
better at our sport.

76 Open runs, with a trace of new snow at the summit and the
possibility of additional snow which is forecast to be in the form
of "flurries". Basically, there are pockets of snow blowing around
up there and with any luck, some of these little snow zones will
cross over Tremblant. The temps are nice mild winter values at
-6C with moderate Northerly winds at around 10km, so dressing
for today will not be hard and if you are moving at a good pace,
it will be a very comfortable day of excellent exercise.
In any event, thanks to the continued efforts of the Tremblant
Mountain Crews, the conditions continue to be very good,
particularly if compared to what things would have been
like otherwise.
In the categories of Skier/Boarder Skill levels, ie: beginner,
intermediate and expert, there is a lot of high quality terrain
for each. There have been some internet complaints about
Conditions at all Eastern North American Ski Resorts, but
there is not much we can do about the slow start to winter
that Mother Nature made in the East and Tremblant is a
leader in making the most of both natural and blown snow
resources, thereby maximizing terrain potential. In our opinion,
we should all be thankful for that, things could definitely be worse.
Regardless, of your skill level, it is still necessary to keep an eye
out for natural hazards which can occur under even the best of
conditions, so as you warm up in the morning, take it easy as
you cruise around the Mountain. "Look before you leap!", as
they say, and you will have a lot less "surprises".
