102/102(*) Open Trails.

Historic Seasonal Snow Accumulation Marker @ 435cm's:

This Is Trending To Be A Very Good, Way Ahead Of Average Year...

At Mid-February 2025, Tremblant Has Now Reached The
30 Year TOTAL SEASONAL AVERAGE Accumulation!

Everything We Get From Here On Is A Bonus So
With 2 Full Months Of Snowfall Yet To Go, It
Could Be Extraordinary!

Weather Notes:

Another wavy dip in the Polar Vortex as we continue to
experience the colder than average temp's affecting the
entire North American Continent.

Unseasonably cold, all the way down to Atlanta
and into Texas, but fortunately(?), the worst of it is over
the mid-Western central plains, so relatively speaking
we’re not so bad off.

The “kicker” here is the wind-chill. With estimated Summit
wind gusting up into the 40km’s zone, the wind-chill values
could touch -34C with Summit early temps at -20C.

The wind facing zone is going to be the La Crete/Beauvallon/Nansen
sectors with secondary exposure zones at Soleil and maybe upper
P’tit Bonheur, depending on wind-shaping around upper topographical
features.

It is absolutely “Bundle Up” alert territory.

------------- 9:47 A.M. Insert Update: -----------------

Please Note: You can’t see it in static screen captures, but the wind
is very strong from the Nor-West and howling like a banshee at times
whipping transient blasts of white-outs from left to right across these
surface levels .

At ground level you can clearly hear the peak howls and it is literally
knocking the tress against one another in local base level neighbourhoods.

------------------------------------------

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Where freshly groomed, extraordinary potential for excellence.

There may be lingering signs of softness that could present
as eventual little moguls in some concentrated traffic zones
but they should be slow to form and out in the wide open
spaces we don’t think you’ll find anything other than smooth
with great grip and control.

Please Note: With the recent wind speeds there could
be zones of focus where topographical contours cause
funnelled air streams that have sufficient velocity to
erosively expose the raw hard or slick trail base.
Hopefully that would be very limited and in recognizable
patterns, so keep an eye out for these sensitive areas and
approach all similar with very slow speeds from above in
order to anticipate risk.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

Experts Fabulous, Fun, Fantastic !

All this recent new snowfall that basically has
not stopped until a few hours ago, PLUS...
It’s Monday, so less local(#) crowds, even more fun!

(#) Regionally it is an Ontario School Holiday
“Family Day” so there will be those nearby
folks, probably until around 2:00 P.M., after
which there will be drag races at all the exits
as the mad rush starts to get back to “Theirville”.

Watch Out For Wind Chill...

Keep an eye out for fellow skiers that
may be showing white spots of frostbite
and let them know it’s time to go in.
