To be objective...
As close to ideal as it is, “Perfect” is only a concept and
especially in the “Un-Groomed” category there can be
hazards you need to look out for. As an example, if
you look closely at the bottom of the Expo pitch pic
frame, you’ll see an exposed ridge of granite. You
do not want to hit that, but it may not be visible
from your ground level approach until a second before
you’re on top of it, so slow speeds are critical to have
near instant ability to turn, jump, pivot, stop, or any
other form of altering course to avoid edge or base
contact that could damage your equipment. Ski Patrol
hand posted conditions alerts cover about 98% of these
glitches and where you see those signs, take them seriously.

Weather Notes:

Not only is it going to be warmer, but our very favourite
forecast element, really low wind speeds. Any degree
of cold is way, way easier with low or no winds. In the
Nord/North scene above from Marie-Claude Asselin,
in the absolute calmness of lee-side shelter behind
the Summit facing winds yesterday, it actually felt
warm in the stillness there with sun filtering in through
the trees. We expect a lot more pronounced evidence
of that today.

Then, look at the long-range forecast... compared to the
Polar Vortex cold of past weeks, it’s going to feel like
a week on a Caribbean beach... Wow, what a contrast!

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Average is excellent across all freshly groomed
terrain where there are exceptionally easy transitions
between skill level ratings that make learning and
practice advancements naturally easy.

Additionally, there has been better glide in the
surfaces which can also be felt as self sustained
speed. You don’t have to push as much to make
speed, it’s naturally faster so crossing plateaus
or shallower pitches gets you further with less
effort. That’s good news for Snowboard fans as
there will be less need to take a foot out.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

See all attached above. Generally very fine to excellent...
however, there are typical raw conditions that can happen
especially from traffic patterns, so do be cautious exploring
and make sure to use very slow speeds with line-of-sight
navigation to avoid hazards.

Legitimate Experts are going to be thrilled. Aspiring
Intermediates need to be really careful. The open
Hors Piste is not forgiving, it is very densely wind
packed with a crust-like top layer that is difficult
to turn in because body weigh will break you through
and the thickness below needs skill and muscle to make
turns in from there.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
