---------- T360 Apres Mid-Night, Apres Ski Edit, Under construct @ 12:33 A.M. ---------------

It’s The Big 24Hr Children’s Charity Fundraiser Weekend!

Course construction ongoing, Summit-To-Base, Versant Sud/South Side.

As a compensation for the public not involved with
the event, Mountain Crews are opening extra Versant
Nord/North Side terrain, a lot of it within the Expo
Quad service sector.

This below is not open but it is symbolic of the fact that
conditions at Tremblant are indeed “Dynamite!”

Loads more in the morning, but if you can go,
don’t waist even a moment thinking about it,
just head out for Tremblant A.S.A.P.!

Conditions Notes:

Generally:

Deep, lofty, abundant fresh snowfall tends to favour
Expert skill levels due to the technique and muscle
resources that are required to execute safe descents
in conditions that will inevitably include thickly tracked
and irregular depths of highly variable depths.

Beginners and Intermediates need to start on Nansen
or P’tit Bonheur and stay there lapping until fully warmed
and confident, before attempting steeper or deeper
challenges. Pay attention to your Ski Instructor/Mentor
and focus on stopping and speed control skills as
essential basics because chunky tracked surfaces may
represent significant difficulties for directional change.

In The Groomed:

Expect signifiant softness in top layers that are prone
to tracking and mogul formations on a quickly evolving
basis.

Initial grooming quality will be exceptional but may be
very quickly changing due to the lofty softness and you
need to be very mindful of the muscle demands where
fatigue thresholds can be experienced suddenly with
serious consequence if not recognized. Take lots of safe
en-route breaks, and practice controlled breathing to fully
recuperate before attempting prolonged linear descents.

For Experts... Watch out for and respect mixed skill level
sharing on limited terrain where you need to respect
and give very big passing margins for those Beginners
and Intermediates who may struggle with thick snow
and make sudden and unpredictable directional or
speed changes.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

For This Date In Any Tremblant History...

Fantastic, phenomenal, superb, amazing, remarkable,
fun and with this much new snow, exponentially more
forgiving for those with genuine skills.

Important Repeat Directly Applicable To The Sous Bois Group...
