34(*) Open Trails At #Tremblant.

The 24Hr. Children’s Charity Fundraiser Event Continues...

And for today, the best way to know where and what is open
to the public is to check with the Summit based Info. Ski Crews
because the list could change after noon, maybe.

Any run on Sud/South Nansen will be rewarded with
not only the extraordinary quality of the grooming
and the fast silky smooth snow, but for the first time
that we are aware, the the lower runout to the Flying
Mile Quad chairlift has been reconfigured to come in
from the left side, around the base of the 24Hr Event
infrastructure, and you do not have to take your skis
off to load the lift. This is a brilliant way to handle the
Nansen traffic and makes for joyfully easy descent cycles
on one of the very finest Beginner/Intermediate learning
and practise trails in the known Ski-World.

Weather Notes:

Back To Cold... Please see attached supplementary
weather data for the “Why” in all the recent, prolonged,
cold weather cycles we have been through.

--------------- Supplementary Weather Data: ---------------

This is the supplementary data for today, but it needs
to be combined with yesterday for a more complete
understanding. One way to think of it is like a “train”
going from West to East, but the cars in the train
are sometimes stacked on top of each other as well
as behind one another.

By looking at the 10 day temperature plot-lines in the daily
weather data graphic above, you can basically see how the
shape of the Polar Vortex lobes are going to be passing through
by the rise and fall of the temp ranges across the progressive
advance of days in the forecast.

This is from yesterday, but it’s still important to put
the evolving picture into perspective for understanding
how it is progressing today.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Fantastic early season quality that rivals
any mid-winter level, but... with the still
early limited open availability because
Mountain Crews are diligently working
on base construction with the essential
blown snowmaking that is necessary for
the long term trail base durability in the
expanding coverages.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
