Weather Drama, Just About Everywhere But Here!

O.K., so it’s still cool here, but after January’s
deep-freeze, what we’re seeing now is not
all that bad, even well within average expectations.

Here’s a glimpse of the overall mid/late February atmospheric stack...

So, while we enjoy cool, but relatively easy conditions,
any Tremblant fans planning on leaving from virtually
anywhere in the New England region to get here now,
are probably still stuck on the ground in what is being
described as the worst blizzard in decades, if not over
100 years that has buried much of the upper East Coast
of the U.S.A. By way of a starting point, over 5,000 flight
cancellations in 30 hours, so far. More on this later.

----------- Please Note: Versant Nord/North Side Duncan Quad Closure. -----------

We are taking a positive point of view on this one and
specifically referring to it as an “Upgrade” because when
the manufacture has to come in for something as
fundamentally significant as a primary motor drive
replacement, you don’t just slap in the part and go home.

Typically, when such a major component gets replaced,
the entire drive system will receive a reset calibration
in addition to fresh bearings, belts, seals, sensors, etc.,
etc., and to us, that’s a functional upgrade.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the “Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
