An Authentic “Spring” Mixed Bag of “+/-“ Zero C Conditions.
Sun, Cloud, Thaw, Freeze, Snow, Rain, Sleet, Freezing Rain...
You Name It, We Had It, We Got It...
When There Are 36 Of 92 Trails On “Progressive” Open Status...
You Absolutely Need to Check With Summit Info. Ski Crews For
Up-To-The-Minute Trail Availability.
Please Note: Whatever variability there is today
due to the weather events, we consider to be
very short/temporary.
An Important Note For Beginners:
Regardless of the weather drama that any point
in any season can have, what ALWAYS remains is
the totally consistent, absolutely reliable, Sud/South
Resort Base Learning zones, one of which is pictured
here from the Flying Mile Quad rising from its loading
platform.

This is where you get used to moving on Skis or Board
for the very first time. There’s no rush, there’s no time
constraint, there’s no pressure, you just work at it for
as long as it takes and when you get good here, you’re
going to be able to get up the Mountain to La Passe
and Nasen Bas/Lower where your actual Mountain
experience begins.

Conditions Notes:
Generally:
When 36 out of 92 Open trails are time-delayed status,
you know there are significant weather factors influencing
conditions. Furthermore, you may also reasonably expect
Open trail revisions during the course of the day as the
Ski Patrol certify safety, pending where those delayed
Open’s can be made.
In The Groomed:
Select excellence where freshly groomed, especially
at lower levels where slight warmth begins to work
first. If, if, if... the warmth begins to work up and
in to the surfaces, the range of soft highly grippy
conditions would likely become more universal.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:
Patience will be required on the basis of both access
and condition.
The conditions permissions are dependent on safe
use and any early restrictions are due to all the
immediately recent weather factors that are so
intricately complex that it might even be almost
impossible to elaborate on every potential hazard.
One thing for sure... all challenges at legitimate Expert
skills and experience.
The basic solution to all the variables at this stage
will likely be “Heat”, but... until we have enough of
that, it is probably reasonable to expect the range
of open Sous Bois to vary, sometimes in large numbers,
on a daily basis.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the “Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
