perfect spring day with almost full Mountain
winter coverage!
Absolutely remarkable!
Tremblant continues to defy the odds and maintains
fine winter coverages despite the warm temps
and intense solar energy in what can only be described
as the very early arrival of spring conditions.
We are very much hoping that the "In like a Lamb,
Out like a Lion" version of March is the one we're going to get.
Of course it's too early to tell, but in the meantime
all we can do is celebrate the great conditions that we have
today and keep our fingers crossed that we have sufficiently
cold nights to firm things back up for all the tomorrow's
possible.
The North Side will retain the most consistent conditions
because the early morning sun it gets does not have the
thermal energy that develops later on in the day. By the time
the sun is really generating heat radiation, shadows are covering
much of the North's surfaces as it travels on it's path over the
Summit, toward the West.
