Open Trails and ALL lifts open, except Duncan.

More Noon up-date:
A reasonable question at this stage would be:
"Why are they running Soleil if there are no runs open there?"
Answer Could Be: With Duncan off-line until accident repairs
complete, Soleil can be brought on-line to supply more up-hill
capacity by connecting to the Resort Village base Via the
"Destination" gondola from Summit du Neige, over to the Soleil
Base.
Soleil did carry passengers today. Pic included in Apres Ski below.

Revised @ 8:49 a.m. to 69
#15 Gaetan Boucher and #17 Dunzee have been
closed by the Ski Patrol.
Dunzee is a 50 meter connector
from La Crete to McCulloch
and Gaetan Boucher runs diagonally
from the bottom of Dunzee to
the bottom of Zig-Zag/Mid-point
Grand Prix, to the left of the
TGV Quad Chair as you approach
the summit.
In early season conditions it is
not uncommon to see these off-line
between Snow Storms when skied out.
While they can both be fun, they're short
and are insignificant to total skiable area.
---------------------------------------------------------
The Alpine Ski and Snowboard Conditions at Tremblant
are excellent for all skill levels. The Groomed surfaces are
immaculate and everyone will be able to find smooth sailing.
For experts, there is a wide range of choice and challenge.
We recommend that you explore the terrain carefully with
all due care and caution before you go ripping around though.
In order to ensure safety when you explore new terrain,
particularly on the un-groomed trails, proceed with reduced speed.
There may be natural hazards that require navigation to avoid.
There are 5 progressive trail openings, all of them on the Edge,
so we'll have to wait and see on that sector.
At the time of this writing (6:00a.m.), the Official published reports may
still be the preview reports from late yesterday, so we'll have to wait
to see if there are any changes in the one that comes out this morning.
(We say "may be" above because the report timestamp says 3:04 P.M.
on the 26th, which obviously can not be yet as it is only 6:00 A.M. now.
The possibilities exists that it is just a mistake on the date, or the P.M.
and the report was actually very early at 3:04 A.M.)
The Official http://www.tremblant.ca Snow Report is usually published at
about 5:15 A.M. and typically if it's late, then there are changes from
the preview.
(F.Y.I. Our report usually gets built over a 45 minute period because
reviewing all the data, formating page and pic's etc. takes a while,
so if there are changes between the preview and the fresh morning
data, that may necessitate a revamp to correct for accuracy.
Sometimes it can take longer because we anticipate more changes
and the info is not yet available, or we have logistical delays on our
end which can be anything from travel, computer or time crunch glitches.)
The fact is that we have exceptionally good
Alpine Snow Surfaces at Tremblant right now.
The abundance of fresh snow that we've gotten so far this
season has put Tremblant in Fine, Fine shape.
For sure, it's too bad about the accidental situation with Duncan,
but the Mountain staff are doing the best they can to put things
in place for compensating.
Today, starting at 11:00 A.M. (according to the last press release
issued by Tremblant.ca), Busses will be available to assist
in the return of guests to the South Side from the North Side.
However...
With the Edge Quad Chair shown as open, as well as Trail #1, Bon Vivant,
there would be a second way to get to the South, besides Lowell Thomas
to the summit.
You can now take the Expo Quad, turn right on Gagnon to Beauchemin,
go to the Edge Quad, then to the top, where Bon Vivant takes you to Nansen.
You can either descend all the way to the SouthSide Resort Village base,
or cut over on Mi-Chemin to the TGV High Speed Quad to get back up to the Summit.
