All Progressive or gradual openings cleared on tomorrow's
preview except for 1 which is Taschereau and that could
change too. Best advice... Go skiing or boarding and check
it out personally!

50(*) Open Trails including a bunch
of "progressive", gradual openings
as the Ski Patrol certifies additional
terrain for opening.
Good News Item...
The "Edge" is back on-line!
Yesterday we had 45 trails, so day by day,
we should see these incremental additions.
Summit Trees on North still holding snow,
a good sign of stable conditions.
Overlooking Top of Lowell Thomas The rate of recovery is going to be dependent
on the amount of natural snow Mother Nature
decides to give us, but regardless, there will be
steady progress as the Mountain Crews work
day and night to make the most out of what we have.
Cool at -15 C early, but will rise rapidly to around -6C
under partially sunny skies. There is also a good chance of flurries
today. With any luck, maybe a small accumulation. Winds should
be quite light and from the South-West, so they will not be a concern.
All in all, a very nice winter day.
In general terms, the Skiing and Boarding should be fine,
better than yesterday as mentioned in previous reports,
improving every day. The return to stable, well below
freezing does make things more "solid", but as the
Mountain Crews get at the surfaces with their equipment
and loosen up the surface layers, it also helps to dry things out
in a manner of speaking. Most obviously, there is less humidity
which serves to remove any sort of "stickiness" or "tackiness"
in the surfaces.

We hope this pic from the Duncan Quad as it nears the summit
can remain here because it's a good pic to begin with, but also
so that future Tremblant historians can see it here in archival
searches. Time will tell.
Gradually, the beautiful carving properties that we usually enjoy so
widely across Tremblant's terrain, will be restored. This gradual
restoration, however, means that caution still needs to be used
as you explore the Mountain's open trails.
Speed and Hazard Caveat:
There will be hazards out there. You need to look for them in
a controlled manner rather than ripping around and hitting
them when there's nothing you can do if you have excessive speed
at that moment. Statistically, that's a big cause of accidents.
It is quite likely that the readers here are the least likely, to actually
need such a disclaimer as the above. That said, it follows that we
should be the most likely, at setting a good example for others
on the Mountain.
Snowmaking will be ongoing too. You can check the list
here to see where it's going on.
More to follow, but for time being, here's
