Surface conditions improving every day.
"Crisp" winter temps, under partially sun.
Private Club ambiance with light traffic.
Over the last week or so, since that soggy little "thermal"
event that made things on the entire East Coast of North
America "challenging"....
... We've been promoting the benefits of a Tuneup.
We have said that it is a critical element of your potential
enjoyment of a day on the slopes, however, it is not the
only essential element, so here's another one....
If you find these conditions "challenging"...
Get A Lesson.
Then you can do this... So then, you've got two things on your
"critical element" list now...
1) Get a tuneup
2) Get a lesson
But wait, there's more....
... at least one more HUGE critical element...
Critical Element # 3....
POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE!
This is the core of what we have referred to elsewhere in
these forums as the "receptive" student.
Right now is actually one of the best possible times to advance
your learning. If you can learn when conditions are challenging
then you can learn anytime and you will be much better as a
Skier or Snowboarder for it.
Challenge Builds Character, or in this case, and with the
application of correct knowledge, better Skiers and
Snowboarders.
Tremblant360 Rule of Learning # 4:
"If You're Not Falling, You're Either Stagnant or Perfect."
We don't mean you should be doing cartwheel's down the Mountain either,
but if you don't occasionally catch an edge or take a tumble, you are not
exploring the edge of your own performance envelope.
Don't know how to fall? .... "Soft" and "Loose" ....
Tremblant360 Rule of Learning #5
"You Will Fall Less If You Can Think Like A Cat"
Agile, Nimble, Balanced and Quick...
... with just a hint of "Attitude".
.^,,,,^.
( .\ /. )
.=(~)=.
... you know what we mean.

Slope Reporter Feedback:
From last week:
"On Jan 2 nd or 3rd, a friend and i got in 3 runs on Expo
and Kossack ALONE. Nobody was on the chair or trails but
us for those three runs. I screamed at the strangers to get
off my chairlift when they finally arrived.

Sunday afternoon, 2:25 @ the Expo Quad Chair Base.
Slope Reporter Feedback:
