why you can't be here, but if you can...
You're Crazy if you're missing this....
Tremblant Trail-side Summit Snow.
Tremblant360 Pic du Jour...
Proof of Snow. Real, genuine and here right now.
@ 2:52 P.M. Saturday, January 15th, 2011
The Mountain Crews have been doing an excellent job of
utilizing both natural and blown snow to create smooth
consistent surfaces everywhere they groom.
End result, Great carving!
Caveat: There are still some natural hazards out there, but
predictably, they are around trail intersections, run-outs
or narrow high traffic zones, so keep a sharp eye out
as you cruise around.
The weather today:
Starts out brilliantly sunny and a cool -14C that should rise to
around -11C, with Westerly winds at moderate speeds.
Those winds mean that as usual for these
temps, that you need to pay attention to any potential
air gaps or not enough layers around wrists, neck or waist
that could result in loss of body heat.
Riding up the TGV and Flying mile, you should find the wind at
your back, but cresting Lowell Thomas, you may find yourself
facing into it, so be prepared to eliminate any exposed skin.
